Single-action pocket pistol, chambered for .31- to .38-caliber percussion. Octagon barrels from 3" to 6" in length. Finish blued. Square butt walnut grips. Barrel marked, "Allen & Wheelock". Approximately 500 manufactured between 1858 and 1865.
