Small pocket pistol chambered for .22 rimfire cartridge. Had 2" part-octagon barrel that swung to right for loading. Cartridges were manually extracted. Featured brass frame. Blued or plated barrel and walnut bird's-head grips. Barrel marked, "Allen & Co. Makers". Extremely small firearm. Approximately 200 manufactured between 1869 and 1871.
