Pistol of percussion type. Chambered for .25-caliber. Part-round/part-octagonal barrel is 6" long. Features small silver star inlays along its length. Barrel marked "Andrus & Osborn/Canton Conn.", with an eagle stamped beside it. Marked "Cast Steel" near breech. Grips walnut. Finish browned. Active 1863 to 1867.
