Three makers of high end British double guns who merged over the years. The first was established 1821 by Joseph Lang, joined in 1925 by Stephen Grant (est. 1866), and then in 1960 by Henry Atkin (est. 1875). The firm currently offers guns under each of those three individual names – Joseph Land side by side double rifles, Stephen Grant over under shotguns, and Joseph Lang side by side and over under shotguns. As with many of the makers of finest British sporting arms, each gun in individually made and must be evaluated on its own. Recent sales and offerings have ranged from under $2,000 to over $30,000.
