.41-caliber spur-trigger single-shot pocket pistol, with pivoted 2.5" or 4" octagonal barrel marked "Southerner". Silver-plated or blued, with walnut grips. Manufactured by Merrimack Arms Co. from 1867 to 1869; Brown Manufacturing Co. from 1869 to 1873.
