Self-adjusting gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun. Chambered for 12-gauge only. Offered with 26", 28" or 30" barrels, with ventilated rib and screw-in Invector choke tubes. Has 3" chambers. Can fire any load interchangeably. Finish blued, with checkered walnut stock and recoil pad. Features light engraving. Introduced in 1987. The 2008 recoil version (A-500R) has a slightly better reputation for functioning than gas-operated A-500G. Values are roughly similar.
