Marked "Bristol Firearm Co." or "Burnside Rifle Co./Providence-R.l.". Barrel marked "Cast Steel 1861" and some breech-block devices marked "G.P. Foster Pat./April 10th 1860". Approximately 1,500 2nd Models manufactured in 1861 and 1862.
