Whitneyville Dragoon

6-shot, .44 caliber. The Whitneyville was the first revolver manufactured in Hartford, Connecticut by Sam Colt. Original, turned out in late 1847, featured several improvements over the Walker model, such as a shortened cylinder, the barrel wedge entered from the left side of the shortened barrel lug, and a loading lever latch was added. Has early Walker-style flared bottomed, oiled walnut grip and square back brass triggerguard and backstrap that's cut for attaching a shoulder stock. Model No. CA083 with standard blue, charcoal blue (+$70), and original finish ($100).
