A .47-caliber 6-shot percussion pepperbox, with case-hardened barrels, German silver frame and walnut grips. Normally marked "B. Cogswell, 224 Strand, London" and "Improved Revolving Pistol". Cogswell also made single and double barrel percussion pistols and Tranter/Adams style double action percussion pistols.
