Charles Daly was co-founder of Schoverling & Daly sporting goods company in New York City in 1865. The company imported some of the better-made shotguns from Europe and Charles Daly was used as the brand name. Daly trademark was sold several times over the years, with various owners importing guns from Belgium, Germany, Japan, Italy and other countries.
