Manufacturer of percussion and later cartridge shotguns, from 1853 to 1919. Cartridge shotguns embodied Nathan R. Davis' patented improvements of 1879, 1884 and 1886. Though only made in plain serviceable grades, Davis shotguns were extremely well made and lived up to the company's motto "As Good as the Best".
