Star Model 1919
Courtesy James Rankin
Copy of Mannlicher design. Differs from its predecessors chiefly in the way pistol is disassembled. Has a spring catch at top of trigger guard, a small spur on hammer and magazine release was relocated to a button behind the trigger guard instead of a catch at bottom of butt. Chambered for 6.35mm, 7.65mm and 9mm short, with various barrel lengths offered. Maker's name, as well as Star trademark stamped into slide. Produced until 1929.
