Sheriff's Model

Has a 4" barrel and no ejector rod. All were chambered in .45 Colt caliber and had serial numbers below 400. Features include nickel or blue, with case-hardened finish and faux (plastic) stag grips. There have been rumors that some of the Great Western parts were made by Colt. Sheriff's Models have been examined by experts who believe that the hammer and cylinder frame were identical to those on Colt SAA revolvers.
