Centerfire Single-Action (Frontier Six Shooter)

This was Great Western's basic model and came chambered in a variety of center-fire calibers, .22 LR and .22 Magnum (WRM). Barrel lengths were offered in 4.75", 5.5", 7.5" and 12". Finishes were cyanide case colored, blued, chrome or nickel plated. The .22 / .22 WRM Convertible was listed in the catalogues after 1959. Standard grip panels were plastic imitation stag. Optional walnut, stag, pearl and ivory could be ordered. All were fitted with a Christy Gun Works firing pin mounted in the recoil shield, rather than on the hammer like the original Colts.
