A .36-caliber percussion revolver, with 7.5" barrel and 6-shot cylinder. Frame and grip straps made of brass. Barrel and cylinder made of iron. Approximately 3,700 made between 1862 and 1864 for Confederate government. NOTE: This revolver sometimes referred to as Griswold and Grier. Professional authentication is highly recommended.
