Ithaca Baker Model
First model produced by the company was designed by W.H. Baker and manufactured from 1883 through 1887. Offered in six grades; Quality A ($35) through Quality F ($200), in 10- or 12-gauge. All Ithaca-produced Baker models had exposed hammers. Grades above Quality B are seldom encountered and an expert appraisal is recommended.
