Knick Model Single-Barrel Trap
Knick Model trap gun introduced during 1922. Based on design credited to Frank Knickerbocker. Design was simple and very serviceable. Had been in continuous production until 1988, when it was discontinued. Model available in Victory, 4, 5, 7 and Sousa Special Grades. Sousa was replaced by: $1,000 Grade in about 1936; which was replaced by $2,000 Grade by 1952; $2,500 Grade by 1960; $3,000 Grade by 1965; $5,000 Grade by 1974; finally, Dollar Grade in early 1980s, as cost of production increased. All Knick models were produced with automatic ejector and rubber anti-recoil pad.
