The K9 was the first Kahr pistol debuting in 1995. A premium all-steel semi-automatic DAO pistol chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W (Model K40). Ultra-compact size with a Lothar Walther polygonal-rifled barrel of 3.5"; overall length 6"; width at slide .9". Originally available in blue or electroless nickel finish and now in stainless steel. Weight 25 oz. A variety of special models including a K9 Lady’s Model with lighter recoil spring have been offered in the past.
