Nearly all of the examples located have barrels replaced with 4", 9mm units. This was done after later 1908 model was adopted. Some were refurbished during Nazi era and these pistols bear Waffenamts and usually mismatched parts. Approximately 1,500 manufactured, with serial numbers of one- to four-digits.
