4" barrel, 9mm caliber. Krieghoff trademark stamped on front toggle link and letter "S" stamped over chamber. There is a stock lug. Extractor and safety are both marked. Grips are wood on early manufactured pistols and brown checkered plastic on later examples. Approximately 4,500 manufactured for Luftwaffe, with one- to four-digit serial numbers.
