Simson Dated Military

4" barrel, 9mm caliber. There is a stock lug and year of manufacture from 1925-1926 stamped above chamber (below serial number 700). Extractor and safety both marked in German. Checkered walnut grips of Simson-made Lugers are noticeably thicker than others. This is an extremely rare variation. Few seem to have survived.
