The SBL is recognizable for its polished stainless metalwork against gray laminate furniture. Nickel-plated, spiral-fluted bolt. Barrel threaded at 11/16x24. Black rubber buttpad. Push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and half-cock hammer. Oversized lever loop and slimmed-down forend. Includes swivel studs and offset hammer spur. Marlin horse-and-rider logo laser-engraved on the grip. Ruger-made Marlin rifles begin with the serial prefix “RM.” The traditional Marlin stock bullseye is now red/white.
