Introduced in 1983. Advertised as being chambered for .307 and .356 Winchester cartridges. .307 was never produced. .356 Winchester was supposed to add new capabilities to this classic rifle, but it never caught on with the shooting public. Discontinued in 1986 after only 2,441 Model ERs were manufactured. Has 20" barrel and 5-shot tube magazine.
