.36-caliber percussion revolver, with 7.5" round barrel and 6-shot cylinder. Loading lever of rack-and-pinion type. Blued case-hardened, with walnut grips. Barrel marked "Metropolitan Arms Co. New York". Approximately 50 made in 1864 and 1865.
