.36-caliber percussion revolver, with 4.5", 5.5" or 6.5" round barrels and fluted 5-shot cylinder. Blued case-hardened, with walnut grips. Barrel normally marked "Metropolitan Arms Co. New York", although examples have been noted without any markings. Approximately 2,750 made between 1864 and 1866.
