Established in 1861 by William Ledbetter. Made copies of U.S. Model 1841 Rifle complete with patchbox and double strapped nose cap. Barrel bands pinned to stock. Between 270 and 390 made from October 1861 through March 1862. Overall length 48.75"; barrel length 33"; .54-caliber. Unmarked except for serial number on various parts including barrel.
