Italian gun making firm located in Gardone Val Trompia in province of Brescia. Shotguns are hand crafted and limited to a few each year. Each gun made to individual specifications. Many consider them one of the best double shotguns made in the world today. Actions are Anson & Deeley boxlock or Holland & Holland sidelock. Several features offered on these shotguns at no additional cost: type of stock and forearm, barrel length and chokes, rib, action shape and finish.&break;&break;Other features are considered extra cost options and will affect value of gun. These are: single triggers, detachable sidelocks, automatic safety, recoil pads, upgraded wood, engraving and multi-gauge sets. With exception of a few grades, Piotti guns are available in 10-, 12-, 16-, 20-, 28-gauge and .410 bore. Depending on gauge, barrel lengths are from 25" to 32".
