James Reid manufactured guns in New York City 1861-1865 and Catskill New York 1868-1883. His serial numbers ran consecutively through all models. His early Model 1 revolver will also be found marked James P. Fitch, Phoenix Revolver, Wm. Irving, and Holey Mfg. Co.
