A .22-caliber (Rem. Automatic, not interchangeable with anything else) semi-automatic rifle, with 22" barrel and open sights. Blued, with walnut stock. Later production examples were known as Model 16A. Manufactured from 1914 to 1928. NOTE: Peerless and Premier Grades have engraving and higher grades of walnut. Add 400 percent premium for Peerless grade; 700 percent for Premier grade.
