A .32- or .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol, with 3.5" barrel. Magazines capable of holding 7 or 8 cartridges depending on caliber. Blued, with hard rubber grips having legend "Remington UMC" in a circle at top. Slide marked "The Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. Remington Ilion Wks. Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A. Pedersen's Patents Pending". Later versions carried a 1920 and 1921 patent date. Early examples have 9 grooves on slide; later models 15 grooves, with frame marked "Remington Trademark". Early variations are worth approximately 10 percent more than values listed below; .32-caliber examples are worth approximately 25 percent additional. Approximately 65,000 manufactured between 1918 and 1934.
