Model 1882 Shotgun

Sidelock double-barrel 10- or 12-gauge shotgun, with 28" or 30" fluid steel or Damascus barrels. Blued case-hardened, with checkered pistol-grip stock and hard rubber buttplate. Barrels are marked "E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y." and lock marked "Remington Arms Co.". Has a conventional top lever that moves to the side. Offered with optional engraving. Such models should be individually appraised. Approximately 7,500 manufactured between 1882 and 1889.
