Model R51

Sub-compact 9mm with double-action-only operation, 3.4" barrel, low-profile fixed sights, grip safety, ambidextrous magazine release and 7+1 capacity. Introduced in 2014. In July of 2014, Remington stopped production of R51 and announced a recall of the pistol due to reports of functioning problems. Anyone who purchased an early production R51 may return it to Remington and receive a new one, along with two additional magazines and a custom Pelican case. To find out if your R51 is subject to the recall, contact Remington at (800) 243-9700. You will be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number and serial number of your pistol. Production of R51 resumed in August of 2016, with what Remington describes as a perfected design. Among updated features are a fast re-set polymer trigger, a more aggressive extractor and an enhanced recoil spring. Note: Add $200 for Crimson Trace Laser.
