New Model Pocket Revolver
A .31-caliber spur trigger percussion revolver, with octagonal barrels ranging from 3" to 4.5" in length and 5-shot cylinder. Blued or nickel-plated case-hardened, with walnut grips. Barrel marked "Patented Sept. 14, 1858, March 17, 1863 E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, New York U.S.A. New Model.". Approximately 25,000 manufactured between 1863 and 1873. NOTE: Add 15 percent for blued models.
