Remington-Rider Pocket Revolver

Double-action .31-caliber percussion revolver, with 3" barrel and 5-shot cylinder. Most of these revolvers were blued but a few were nickel-plated case-hardened, with gutta-percha grips. This model also encountered altered to .32 rimfire. Barrel marked "Manufactured by Remingtons, Ilion, N.Y., Riders Pt. Aug. 17, 1858, May 3, 1859". Approximately 20,000 manufactured between 1860 and 1873. NOTE: Cartridge variation worth approximately 20 percent less than original percussion version.
