As above, with 28" barrel, full-length stock and bearing U.S. Navy inspection marks. Approximately 260 made in 1855. Values listed are for the 27" barrel Navy rifle. US Navy carbines with 18" barrels may bring a premium of around 50% (rare - 100 made). US Army carbines marked "U.S./JH" (650 made) may bring a 30% premium.
