Standard configuration has 30" barrel. Some had double set triggers. They are found with either a lug for a sabre bayonet or adapted for a socket bayonet. Around 600 were made with a extra long 36" barrel, and will bring a premium. Rifles which can be documented as issued to Col. Berdan's U.S. Sharpshooters Regiments will bring a significant premium.
