Long cataloged, this 1911 was originally a mil-spec WWII-style M1911 chambered in .45 ACP cartridge, 5" barrel, old-style fixed sights, standard checkered brown plastic grips, lanyard loop on mainspring housing, and traditional 7-round magazine. Currently chambered only in .45 ACP, this model has also been offered in 9mm and .38 Super. Weight about 38 oz. One of the arms evolving over the years, early versions had a GI ejection port, while modern ones have a lowered, flared port and modern high-profile sights. Originally offered Parkerized only, blued and stainless steel have been offered. The "Legacy" is the new entry-level model (Parkerized only). Mil-Spec or stainless steel are upgrades.
