Navy Model

A .36-caliber percussion revolver with 6" round barrel, centrally mounted hammer and 6-shot etched cylinder. Top strap marked "Springfield Arms Company". Blued case-hardened, with walnut grips. This model manufactured in two variations: one with a single trigger; other with a double trigger, the forward one which locks the cylinder. Both variations had loading levers. Approximately 250 made in 1851.
