Early in 1957, Ruger shipped 250 sets of parts to Armanex in Mexico. Armanex fabricated barrels for the sets of parts and then finished and assembled 250 pistols — 200 with 4.75" barrels and 50 with 6.5" barrels. Due to the rarity of these pistols, an expert examination and appraisal is recommended.
