This is the New Model Blackhawk, with 7.5" or 10.5" barrel. Chambered for .357 Maximum and intended for silhouette shooting. This model experienced problems with gas erosion in the forcing cone and under the top strap and was removed from production in 1984. Approximately 9200 were manufactured.

Matched pair of Ruger New Blackhawks, one in .44 and the other in .357, commemorating 50th Anniversary of Ruger Blackhawk revolver. Gold-filled rollmarked 6.5" and 4.625" barrels, respectively. Includes presentation case. Production limited. Introduced 2007.
