The .44 Special Blackhawk became a reality in 2010. Made only in Flattop design, with blue finish and 4.625" or 5.5" barrel.

Based on Colt Bisley frame, with adjustable sights and longer grip frame. Chambered in .44 Magnum or .45 Colt, with 7.5" barrel, blue finish, alloy frame and hardwood grips.

Introduced in 2005. Features smaller original size XR-3 grip, smaller main frame with checkered hard rubber grips. Adjustable rear sight. Special commemorative gold roll mark on top of barrel. Chambered for .357 Magnum and fitted with 4.625" barrel. Weight about 45 oz. All Blackhawk revolvers now feature this new/old smaller main frame.

New Model Blackhawk made from stainless steel. To date offered in .357, .44, .45 L.C. and .327 Federal calibers.

This is the New Model Blackhawk, with 7.5" or 10.5" barrel. Chambered for .357 Maximum and intended for silhouette shooting. This model experienced problems with gas erosion in the forcing cone and under the top strap and was removed from production in 1984. Approximately 9200 were manufactured.

Matched pair of Ruger New Blackhawks, one in .44 and the other in .357, commemorating 50th Anniversary of Ruger Blackhawk revolver. Gold-filled rollmarked 6.5" and 4.625" barrels, respectively. Includes presentation case. Production limited. Introduced 2007.
