Note: In 1995, Ruger produced 500 22/45s with stainless steel 6.875" Government type barreled receivers for one of their distributors. They appear around 220-59xxx serial number range. In 1997, another Ruger distributor succeeded in contracting Ruger to make a similar 22/45 only in blue, with 6.875" slabside bull barrels. Approximately 1,000 were produced, with serial numbers extending to 220-87xxx serial number range.

A limited number, about 1,000, of this variation were produced in 1995. A 4" bull barrel on a P frame. Introduced into the product line as a production pistol in 1997. Weight 31 oz.

Variation of Model 22/45 Mark III action, with muzzle threaded to accept various accessories. Muzzle capped to protect threads, receiver and barrel drilled and tapped to accept accessory rails. Weight 32 oz.; 4.5" barrel, with blue finish.

This variation of the stainless steel version has a blued receiver, with P-style frame.

Lightened version of standard 22/45 Mark III model, with 4.4" barrel. Weight 23 oz. Manufactured 2012-2016.
