Company was founded in 1968 by Daniel B. Wesson, great-grandson of D.B. Wesson co-founder of Smith & Wesson. This line of handguns is unique for its barrel/shroud interchangeability. Dan Wesson revolvers have established themselves as champion metallic silhouette competition guns. Company offers a comprehensive line of handguns for almost every use and will also custom build a handgun to customer specifications. Dan Wesson Arms was restructured on January 4, 1991 and identified as Wesson Firearms Company, Inc. Wesson handguns made after this date will be stamped with this new corporate name.
