Cochran. Finish blued, with walnut stock. There is a saddle ring on left side of the frame. Marked "Whitney Arms Co. - Whitneyville, Conn.". Produced for 1867 Government Carbine Trials. Fewer than 50 manufactured in 1866 and 1867.
