Built on small-/large-frame action. Chambered for .38-40, .44-40, .40-60 or .45-60 cartridges. Has 20" or 22" round barrel; 9- or 12-round tubular magazine, depending on caliber; short fore-end held on by a single barrel band. Approximately 1,000 manufactured. Most of them sent to Central or South America.
