A .22-caliber semi-automatic pistol, with 4.75" barrel. Blued or nickel-plated, with plastic grips and aluminum alloy frame. This pistol readily distinguishable by its streamlined form. Approximately 13,000 examples made with blue finish; 900 with nickel-plated finish. Some slides marked "Wolverine Whitney Firearms Inc., New Haven, Conn USA"; others "Whitney" only. Wolverine-marked pistols are considered more rare. Pistol produced in two locations: New Haven, Connecticut; and Hartford, Connecticut. Manufactured from 1955 to 1962.
