Gas-operated rotary-bolt double-action semi-automatic pistol. Chambered for .357 Peterbuilt, .45 Win. Magnum or .475 Wildey Magnum cartridges, with 5", 6", 7", 8" or 10" ventilated rib barrels. Gas-operated action is adjustable and features a single-shot cutoff. Rotary-bolt has three heavy locking lugs. Constructed of stainless steel, with adjustable sights and wood grips. Values of this rarely encountered pistol are based not only on condition, but caliber—as well as serial-number range. Earlier-numbered guns being worth a good deal more than later production models. All Wildey models are no longer in production.
