A slightly more modern version of Model 1892. Offered in these calibers: .25-20, .32-20 and .44-40. Available in only one style: Sporting Rifle; 22" round barrel; half magazine; straight-/pistol-grip plain walnut stock, with shotgun butt. Available in solid-frame or take-down, with blued frame and barrel. Produced from 1924 to 1932, with about 25,000 built. NOTE: Add 25 percent for take-down model; 60 percent for rifles chambered for .44-40 cartridge. Deluxe model was made with high-grade checkered stock. A few of these rifles were fitted with stainless steel barrels in early 1930s. If the black paint on these barrels is in good condition, they will bring a substantial premium.
