A continuation of Model 1894, except in a simplified version. Available in same calibers as Model 1894. This rifle could be ordered only with a 24" round barrel; plain walnut straight-grip stock, with plain fore-end and shotgun butt. Frame and barrel were blued, with solid or take-down features. Produced between 1924 and 1932, with about 21,000 sold. Serial numbers were numbered separately until about serial number 4500; then numbered in Model 1894 sequence. NOTE: .25-35 calibers will bring up to 100 percent premium in V.G. or better condition. Add 20 percent premium for models with solid-frames.
