Model 57 was close in appearance to Model 56, with addition of a heavier stock, target sights and swivel bows attached to stock. Chambered for .22 Short or .22 LR. Featured 22" round barrel, with detachable box magazine. Stock was plain walnut pistol grip and forend. Introduced in 1927; discontinued in 1936. About 19,000 sold.
