Model 64

An improved version of Model 55. Features larger magazine, pistol-grip stock and forged front sight ramp. Trigger pull was also improved. Frame and barrel were blued. Chambered for .25-35 Win., .30-30 Win., .32 Win. Special and .219 Zipper added in 1938 (discontinued in Model 64 in 1941). Serial numbers were concurrent with Model 1894. Built between 1933 and 1957. Approximately 67,000 were sold. Reintroduced in 1972; discontinued in 1973. Values listed are for early version only. For 1972 model, see POST-1963 RIFLES section. NOTE: Add 150 percent for Deluxe model. Rifles chambered in .219 Zipper or .25-35 calibers are very rare. Add 400 percent for .219 Zipper; 200 percent for .25-35; 10 percent for bolt peep sight. Model 64s in .219 Zipper left factory with these sights as original equipment.
